Abstract:The focus of existing researches on RBAC constraints has been predominantly on the specification of constraints, the detection and resolution of constraint conflicts have been overlooked and remain a significant research challenge. To address these concerns, we propose a set of detection rules for these conflicts. Furthermore, a flexible approach is provided to resolve internal constraint conflicts by defining two new concepts, i.e., priority rule and resolution policy.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
