“…In light of the previous observations, and as reported in the literature with regard to electrical characterization of MPcs compounds [14,15,17,18,22,25,28]: higher is the order of an one-dimensional densely packed molecular architecture in the film matrix, higher is the mobility of charge carriers, resulting in a higher current passed through the devices. For the -CuPc, continuity of the conductive path is disrupted by the randomly oriented -CuPc crystallites, having little contributions to the conductivity [5], thus the current is much smaller than that of the ␣-CuPc films.
