“…In New Zealand, Botryosphaeriaceae species were frequently isolated from failed young plants (I. Harvey, Plantwise, New Zealand, personal communication). Spagnolo et al (2011) also detected these pathogens within standing vine wood samples and dormant grafted plants from different Italian and French nurseries using two Botryopshaeriaceae-specific nested PCR assays.
