Abstract:Background: Bacteremia leading to sepsis and organ dysfunction is a life-threatening situation. One major challenge in treatment of sepsis is the uprising prevalence of antibiotic resistant bacteria, such as Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE).
