Detection of IDH mutations in cerebrospinal fluid: A discussion of liquid biopsy in neuropathology

Abstract: Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutations are a common event in secondary glioblastoma multiforme and lower-grade adult infiltrative astrocytomas and independently confer a better prognosis [1,2].
