Detection of intraoperative myocardial dysfunction by accelerometer during aortic valve replacement

Abstract: OBJECTIVES: Myocardial dysfunction may occur during weaning from cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). Epicardial accelerometers have been shown to be useful in continuous monitoring of myocardial ischaemia during beating-heart surgery.
