“…Additionally, it provides a real-time display of interface azimuth and distance. This technology demonstrates significant advantages in formation resistivity measurement, interface detection, anisotropy evaluation, and pressure abnormality prediction [5][6] . Consequently, it has emerged as a pivotal technique for geosteering.…”

“…The conventional cable logging method has low e ciency, because it requires drilling to be completed before logging, and the measurement results are easily affected by external environmental factors such as borehole environment, drilling uid and mud intrusion, which cannot meet the actual drilling requirements. However, logging while drilling is to install the transmitter and receiver coils on the drill collar, meanwhile, by calculating the phase difference and amplitude attenuation of receiver coils, the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of electromagnetic eld are established, and the conductivity of different formations is detected, so as to obtain the formation material information(Zhu, Gao and Wang 2023, Li et al 2022, Wu et al 2020, Huang, Coope and Shen 1984, Bittar et al 2009). Logging-while-drilling technology overcomes the shortcomings of traditional methods, can detect formation information while drilling (Li et al 2005), improve operation e ciency and cut down the cost of oil eld development.…”
