Blockchain technology (BT) has attracted increasing attention in various research domains in recent years, particularly in the tourism industry where investments in blockchain-based solutions have witnessed remarkable growth. Scholars recognize BT as a disruptive innovation that has the potential to revolutionize the management of tourism processes and enhance traveler experiences. However, despite this growing interest, the literature on BT's application in the tourism sector is still in its early stages compared to other internet-related technologies. This research paper addresses the gap in understanding the challenges and opportunities of implementing and accepting BT within tourism. Specifically, it focuses on the critical aspects of security and trust, as they play pivotal roles in influencing tourists' behavioral intentions towards BT adoption. The study extends the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, incorporating security and trust as relevant antecedents, to comprehensively examine the dynamics driving BT adoption within the tourism context. The proposed model and findings contribute to filling the gaps in existing literature and offer valuable information for tourism players and policymakers to formulate strategies promoting BT acceptance in the tourism sector. By advancing understanding of BT adoption factors and end users' perspectives, this research facilitates the industry's transition towards integrated and seamless experiences for travelers, thus shaping the future of tourism through blockchain technology.

This study examines the factors influencing Vietnamese journalists’ adoption of Artificial Intelligence in journalism. Drawing on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework, it hypothesizes that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, trust, regulatory support, and technology affinity and incorporating additional trust, regulatory support, and technology affinity have significant impacts on journalists’ adoption of technology. Questionnaires were administered to 238 journalists in the context of the Vietnamese press. The findings showed the significant impact of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, trust, regulatory support, and technology affinity on journalists’ adoption of AI in journalism. These results expand the UTAUT framework and offer a more comprehensive understanding of technology adoption in journalism. Practically, the study provides valuable insights for practitioners and policymakers in the journalism industry. Understanding the determinants of journalists’ adoption can inform the development of targeted interventions, training programs, and regulatory frameworks to facilitate the integration of AI technologies into journalistic practices. However, the study has limitations, and future research should replicate the findings in diverse cultural and organizational contexts while considering additional moderating factors.

Blockchain technology has emerged as an indispensable force driving economic development across various sectors in Vietnam. However, prior research in the realm of blockchain technology has predominantly focused on areas such as logistics, journalism, and banking, neglecting the pivotal domains of accounting and auditing. Recognizing this theoretical gap and the significant role played by accounting and auditing in economic systems, this paper endeavors to augment our understanding of blockchain technology through the lens of a novel "triple-entry accounting method." Additionally, it seeks to assess the level of acceptance of this potentially transformative innovation within the Vietnamese business landscape. Blockchain, renowned for its decentralized architecture and distributed data system, represents a fundamental departure from conventional accounting practices. It functions as an open accounting information system, wherein data is distributed among multiple computers with identical copies, devoid of central administration but validated by a network of participants. Drawing upon responses from a sample of 225 participants and employing statistical analysis with SPSS, this study investigates attitudes and intentions regarding the adoption of blockchain technology in the field of accounting in Vietnam. The results of this analysis reveal a positive correlation between four variables-perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, comparability, and complexity-and the attitude toward blockchain application, further positively influencing the intention to use it. However, the variable of Perceived Risk does not exhibit statistical significance. These findings underscore the necessity of establishing intelligent accounting procedures through blockchain adoption and underscore the importance of understanding factors influencing attitudes and intentions to enhance the widespread acceptance of this innovation in the Vietnamese business context.
