Abstract: Transgender women (TWs) face inequities in HIV and unique barriers to PrEP, an effective biomedical intervention to prevent HIV acquisition. To improve PrEP retention among TWs, we examined factors related to retention using a two-phase, sequential explanatory mixed-methods approach.
