Determinants of radiographic severity in ankylosing spondylitis

Abstract: Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) is a highly heritable condition characterised by excessive bone formation and stiffness of the spine and pelvis causing functional impairment. Functional impairment is strongly correlated with radiographic signs of bone formation.
