Determinants of severe QTc prolongation in a real-world gerontopsychiatric setting

Abstract: IntroductionQTc prolongation carries the risk of ventricular tachyarrhythmia (Torsades de Pointes) and sudden cardiac death. Psychotropic drugs can affect ventricular repolarization and thus prolong the QTc interval.
