Determination of automobile alternator faults using harmonic analysis of external magnetic field

Abstract: Evaluation of the external magnetic field parameters allows determining the technical condition of the automobile alternator with minimum labour intensity and sufficient informativity. However, measurement of the external magnetic field magnitude with Hall sensor doesn’t allow expressly recognizing an occurring fault.
