Determination of Boron in NdFeB Alloy by Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES)

Abstract: The alkali melting method was used to pretreat the specimens of Neodymium-iron-boron alloy, and the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer was used to determine the main element boron in NdFeB alloy. The parameters of the instrument were optimized to select the best spectral line for the determination of boron, and the effect of matrix effect was overcome by adding Fe.
