“…This explains the signicant effect of the incorporation of MCM-41 during the formation of MOF and the high dispersion of the Cu-Ag MOF inside and outside the pores of MCM-41. 66,68,71 The EDX spectra in Fig. 3(e and f) reveal the contribution of C, O, Cu, Ag, and Si elements in the Cu-Ag MOF/MCM-41 composite structure while C, O, Cu and Ag elements in the Cu-Ag MOF structure.…”

“…The detection limit of the determinations, evaluated on the basis of S/N=3 was found to be 0.2 μmol L −1 for HQ and 0.5 μmol L −1 for CC. It is acceptable, compared with data reported in the literature, which show that the detection limits reached by applying DPV and modified electrodes vary in the range from 0.007 μmol L −1 to 50 μmol L −1 for HQ and from 0.009 μmol L −1 to 50 μmol L −1 for CC . Costly materials and complicated techniques for electrode modification were required to achieve lower limits of detection by DPV.…”

“…Figure e,f shows the DPV curves of catechol (CT) and hydroquinone (HQ) with the addition of the detected matter, which suggested that the oxidation peaks of the two analytes at MOF‐ERGO‐5/GCE were well separated. Furthermore, the concentrations and current responses of CT and HQ demonstrated a good linear relationship, which made the determination more simple …”
