Determination of charge-transfer electron transitions in tungsten tetrahydride complexes stabilized by organophosphorus ligands by X-ray photoelectron and UV absorption spectra
Abstract:A change in the energy of the long-wave transition in the UV absorption spectra of tetrahydride complexes WH.~L 4 is equal to the change in the energy of the internat 2p-levet of phosphorus. Based on the correlation determined, the electron transitions related to the !ong-wave absorption bands in the UV spectra were assigned to the charge-transfer transitions from the organophosphorus ligand to tungsten.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
