Determination of Current Efficiency of Diaphragm Alkali-Chlorine Cells by Gas Analysis

Abstract: A description is given of a method for determining current efficiency of an alkalichlorine plant simply by an analysis of a cumulative sample of chlorine cell gas, rather than by the more laborious method of measurement of the entire production and current input. A method of obtaining a 24-hr cumulative sample of gas at a uniform rate is described.
