Abstract:In this study, the production of activated carbon from wheat bran was carried out through the chemical activation method. ZnCl2 was used as the chemical agent in the chemical activation. The impregnation ratio was determined as 2:1, and the activation temperature was set to 500 °C. The obtained activated carbon was utilized for the removal of the Deep red dye substance from aqueous solutions.
