Abstract:This study was undertaken to elucidate the dominant endogenous gibberellins (GA) and the changes in their levels in germinating barley during malting. Also, a method for determining gibberellins in barley and malt by combined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was developed.
