“…For that reason, only a few recent reviews and papers are cited here, which are dealing with general developments and applications of these detectors in separation methods. They include electrochemical detection alone [216,217] or in combination with MS [218], direct or indirect chemiluminescence [219], and electrochemiluminescence [220]. NMR spectroscopy is mostly offline combined with CE, especially for the structural analysis of analyte-selector complexes the strength of which was studied by CE [221][222][223].…”

“…26,27 Especially during pregnancy, FA supplements have been shown to effectively reduce the incidence and recurrence rates of neural tube defects. 28 Various analytical methods that have been designed for detecting FA include microbiological methods, 29 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, 30 high performance liquid chromatography, 31 capillary electrophoresis, 32 fluorescence, 33 chemiluminescence 34 and electrochemical methods. 35 However, most of these methods are restricted by the long detection cycle, poor sensitivity, expensive equipment and strong interference from sample pretreatment.…”

“…[1][2][3] Because of the significance of FA in maintaining human health, several methods have been developed for its determination. These methods include high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), 4 microbial assays, 5 spectrophotometry, 6 chemiluminescence, 7 colorimetry, 8 and fluorometry. 9 However, there is a growing interest in finding a reliable, simple, rapid, and efficient method for FA analysis.…”
