“…The limit of detection of the ECL-RET biosensor was measured with the commonly-used 3σ method ( Yang et al., 2020 ; Fan et al., 2020 ; Liang et al., 2016 ; Cai et al., 2021 ). Briefly, for each condition, the standard deviation of samples with the lowest concentration is calculated and multiply by three to obtain the 3σ limit of detection.…”

“…CTL, a kind of chemiluminescence (CL) emitted from heterogeneous catalytic oxidation reactions on the gas–solid interface, has been considered as a promising energy transduction mechanism for fabricating gas sensors . In recent years, a series of CTL sensing applications have been attempted to develop for diethyl ether and many other molecules at different laboratories. However, a higher working temperature above 200 °C is not conducive to the stability of the sensor signal …”

“…Statistically, of the three selected parameters, the bio-Pt NPs concentration (X1) term is the most crucial parameter to the methanol oxidation current density response because it shows the highest F-value (141.35) and low p-value (<0.0001). This phenomenon can be attributed to the difference in the number of reactant particles between the solid (electrocatalyst) and liquid (methanol) phases (Yang et al, 2020). The higher the concentration of bio-Pt NPs in the methanol solution, the higher the chance of the collision frequency between the reactant particles occurring, and the reaction rate also increases.…”
