Abstract:White muscle disease (WMD) is also known as Stiff Lamb Disease or Nutritional Muscular Dystrophy. Selenium and/or Vitamin E deficiency constitutes the etiology of the disease. This study aimed to immunohistochemically evaluate local protein expressions of Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB), Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and Microtubule-related protein 1A/1B-light chain 3 beta (LC3B) in WMD.
