Determination of phytochemicals of Turkish fig genetic resources

Abstract: The rise of consumer interest in functional food make it necessary to determine the total phenolic (TP) and antioxidant activity (AOA) of the fig accessions in Türkiye. In this study, 236 fig accessions were analayzed for various metabolites such as phenolic compounds, total phenols (TP), total anthocyanins (TA), total flavonoids (TF), and total antioxidant capacity (TAC).
