Determination of some quality parameters in early maturing tomato lines

Abstract:In recent years, tomato breeding research, as in many vegetable species, has focused on improving the intrinsic quality of the fruit. To identify the superior lines in terms of biochemical properties, 20 early maturing tomato lines were evaluated. Yields of the lines used in this work ranged from 2.5 to 9.2 kg per plant, with average fruit weights between 86 and 246 g.
