Determination of the principal directions of composite helicopter rotor blades with arbitrary cross sections

Abstract: Modern helicopter rotor blades with non-homogeneous cross sections, composed of anisotropic material, require highly sophisticated structural analysis because of various cross sectional geometry and material properties.
