Abstract:In this study, the probiotic properties and optimum growth conditions of
Lactiplantibacillus plantarum BG24 were investigated. L. plantarum BG24
have a high probiotic potential due to its growth at low pH and high
bile salt concentrations and its ability to utilize lactose. The
adhesion rate of BG24 to Caco-2 cells was 37.51% and it showed
resistance to 8 of the tested 19 antibiotics. The highest enzymatic
