“…Another peculiarity of our observations is that pathologically elevated protein fractions carry a greater part of the pathologically enhanced enzyme-activity. Sevela (1958) was the first who investigated the enzyme-acti vity of electrophoretically separated human serum protein frac tions. In both hepatocellular damage and myocardial infarction the highest GOT-activity was found to be present in the alpha, globulin and the glutamic acid-pyruvic acid transaminase in the beta globulin fraction.…”
