Determining Stress Intensity Factors at Varied Inclination Angles through Innovative Discontinuous Digital Image Correlation

Abstract: An innovative method is proposed for determining stress intensity factors at crack tips with different inclination angles, based on the Adaptive Digital Image Correlation (AD-DIC) method. This method involves fitting a set of nonlinear equations with unknown parameters using displacement field data.
