“…The first study to look at the isotopic signature of lead was based on single collector mass spectrometry measurements which did not allow for a very accurate measurement of lead-204 . A second, more recent study succeeded in determining the isotopic signature of lead with a more precise selection of dusts inside the building and a MC-ICP-MS measurement protocol strictly identical to ours. This selection of indoor dust seems appropriate since the isotopic signature of lead in the plume is in particular similar to that measured in sample “ND140619-06 (I)”, made of fine dust collected on the wood of the Notre-Dame organ.…”
