Abstract: Deuterated drugs (heavy drugs) have recently been spotlighted as a new modality for small‐molecule drugs because the pharmacokinetics of pharmaceutical drugs can be enhanced by replacing C‐H bonds with more stable C‐D bonds at metabolic positions.
