Deuteron-like states composed of two doubly charmed baryons

Abstract: We present a systematic investigation of the possible molecular states composed of a pair of doubly charmed baryons (ΞccΞcc) or one doubly charmed baryon and one doubly charmed antibaryon (ΞccΞcc) within the framework of the one-boson-exchange-potential model. For the spin-triplet systems, we take into account the mixing between the 3 S1 and 3 D1 channels. For the baryon-baryon system ΞccΞcc with (R, I) = (3, 1/2) and (3, 0), where R and I represent the group representation and the isospin of the system, respe… Show more

“…This discovery not only complements the baryon family, but also provides us a good opportunity to study the interactions involved in a doubly charmed baryon. Moreover, we can search for possible double-charm, triple-charm, and tetrad-charm multiquark molecules by constructing a doubly charmed baryon and a nucleon system [5], a doubly charmed baryon and a charmed baryon system [6], a doubly charmed baryon and a doubly charmed baryon system [7], and a doubly charmed baryon and a charmed meson system [8]. Here, we also notice another theoretical prediction of triple-charm pentaquarks [9,10].…”

“…In the single channel calculation Ref. [34], the attraction of the Ω cc Ω cc system is too weak to produce a bound state. But with the help of the channel mixing effects, especially the Ω * cc Ω * cc | 1 S 0 channel, we can obtain a binding solution.…”

“…Törnqvist used the one-pion-exchange (OPE) potential to calculate the possible charmed meson-antimeson molecular state [21,22]. Besides, there are also many other calculations about possible hadronic molecular states, such as the combination of two mesons [23,24,25,26,27,28,29], or two baryons [30,31,32,33,34,35,36]. Similarly, one can also explain the hidden charm pentaquark states as a molecular state formed by one heavy meson and one heavy baryon [37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45].…”
