Developing a Model to Estimate Pile Setup for Individual Soil Layers on the Basis of Piezocone Penetration Test Data

Abstract: This paper analyzes the results of 15 instrumented prestressed concrete test piles that were driven in four sites in Louisiana as part of a pile setup study. Static and dynamic load tests were conducted at specific time intervals to quantify the amount of setup after the end of driving.
