Abstract: Purpose – The need for modern enterprises to seamlessly interoperate poses significant challenges on their capabilities for engaging in multiple business networks. This paper considers a particular type of business network, namely, “service ecosystems”, and proposes architecture for enabling business firms to: control dissemination and usage of the resources they contribute to the ecosystem; and develop corresponding service offerings. Design/methodolog… Show more

“…According to Matopoulos et al (2012), the digital ecosystem is an evolutionary, self-regulating system that can contribute to the sustainability of local and regional development through a well-defined, integrated and widespread software platform for organizations (Kutsikos et al , 2014), which is an organization’s strategic plan (Kraus et al , 2019). A digital-based environment can achieve an organization’s strategic plan (Kraus et al , 2019; Fachrunnisa and Hussain, 2013).…”

Kemampuan dinamis juga dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang cocok untuk mempelajari efek sistem informasi atau kemampuan spesifik teknologi informasi pada organisasi (Rialti et al, 2019).…”

“…The use of information system or software service platforms to support value (co-)creation within systems is an important consideration for the development of digitallyenabled PSS value propositions [84]. Given that a digitally-enabled PSS is in effect a digitally-augmented ecosystem, it is necessary, according to Kutsikos et al [85], to identify In this context, technological changes-and in particular, advanced/smart technologies-can play a key role and this is therefore relevant to digital twin concepts. Indeed, digital technologies can create new connections within a service ecosystem, enabling new value co-creation opportunities and processes [82].…”

“…The use of information system or software service platforms to support value (co-)creation within systems is an important consideration for the development of digitally-enabled PSS value propositions [84]. Given that a digitally-enabled PSS is in effect a digitally-augmented ecosystem, it is necessary, according to Kutsikos et al [85], to identify the building blocks for the service ecosystem. This offers a decision-making mechanism for integrating the building blocks and provides a shared service infrastructure.…”
