Abstract:In this study, polysulfone fibers with various surface morphologies were developed using electrocentrifuge spinning system. The effects of a number of parameters, including the solvent system, spinning system angular velocity, and relative humidity, on the fiber morphology were studied using field emission scanning electron microscopy, porosimetry [Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET)], and contact angle test. The results showed that the fibers prepared from the acetone/dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent system had highe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
