Contemporary industrial equipment is increasingly developing towards complexity. In order to ensure the high reliability and sustainability of industrial equipment, more flexible maintenance strategies have attracted extensive attention. In view of this, this paper aims to summarize the current situation of existing maintenance strategies, so as to enable colleagues in the industry to choose or formulate more efficient maintenance strategies. Firstly, the characteristics, application potential and limitations of single component maintenance strategies, such as corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance, are described in detail from the perspective of maintenance time. On the basis of single component maintenance and the dependency between multiple components, the advantages and disadvantages of multicomponent maintenance strategies, such as batch maintenance, opportunity maintenance and group maintenance, are summarized, and suggestions for the future maintenance of industrial equipment are proposed. Based on this, industries can select the appropriate maintenance strategy according to their equipment characteristics, or improve their existing maintenance strategies based on actual needs.

As questões ambientais, econômicas e sociais não estão totalmente inseridas na aviação, devido aos desafios particulares desse setor. O combustível utilizado na manutenção das aeronaves é parte integrante da cadeia de insumos que deve ser avaliado quanto ao seu custo, descarte e reutilização para mitigar os danos ambientais, econômicos e sociais do processo. O objetivo desse estudo é avaliar os benefícios econômicos, ambientais e sociais da implantação de motobomba no processo de manutenção de aeronaves de uma empresa localizada em São Paulo. O método adotado foi estudo de caso, de natureza exploratória e abordagem quantitativa. Conclui-se que a reutilização do querosene de aviação QAV-1 no processo de manutenção de aeronaves, em lugar do descarte ou revenda do combustível contaminado por impurezas gerou ganhos sociais, econômicos e ambientais Palavras-chave: Manutenção de aeronaves, motobomba de combustível de aviação, QAV-1, ROI em manutenção de aeronaves.

In the field of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), stakeholders such as operators or service providers have to keep track of the health status of fleets of complex systems. The ability to estimate the future health status of these systems and their components becomes more pivotal when seeking to efficiently operate and maintain these systems. Today, these stakeholders have access to a lot of different data sources regarding fleet, operation schedule, ambient condition, system and component information. Many different prognostic methods from different disciplines are available and will further improve henceforward. In many cases these data sources and methods function as isolated methods in their own field. This fragmentation makes a holistic prognosis very challenging in many cases. Therefore, stakeholders need information integrating methods and tools to gain an exhaustive insight into the health status development of the complex assets they are operating or maintaining, in order to make well-founded decisions regarding operation or maintenance planning. In this paper, a Python-based health index framework is presented. It enables users to integrate operation schedules of different detail levels with enriching data sources such as ambient condition data. Furthermore, it provides methods to design complex asset systems which are linked via their construction, function or degradation mechanisms/ health indices via transfer relations. It allows to monitor the asset’s condition based on operation data and to simulate different operation scenarios regarding the health index development.
