Abstract:Watermelon silver mottle virus (WSMoV) and melon yellow spot virus (MYSV) (Tospoviridae, Orthotospovirus) are responsible for silver mottle mosaic and yellow spot symptoms, posing threats to melon (Cucumis melo), watermelon (Citrullus lanatus), and cucumber and leading to significant economic losses in China.
