Abstract: Genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) affects a significant percentage of postmenopausal women and manifests as vaginal dryness, irritation, and urinary discomfort, typically treated with vaginal estrogens. Hydrogels are preferred over creams due to their superior comfort and mucoadhesive properties.
