Development and Characterization of Functionally Gradient Al–Si Alloy Using Cast-Decant-Cast Process

Abstract: A cylindrical component of functionally gradient Al alloy with high silicon in the outer and low silicon in the core was produced using cast-decant-cast (CDC) process.
