Development and evaluation of gastro-retentive drug delivery systems of cefuroxime axetil

Abstract: The aim of the present investigation was to increase the gastric residence time of cefuroxime axetil by preparing gastro retentive mucoadhesive tablet, thereby improving bioavailability of cefuroxime axetil.
