Abstract:The development, reproductive performance, and population dynamics of fall army worm Spodoptera frugiperda (J E Smith) on different host plants were evaluated under laboratory conditions. The egg masses were collected from maize fields and kept in laboratory for incubation. The first instar larvae were shifted on to maize, soybean, cotton leaves, and artificial diet.
