This study investigates the influence of metaverse technology on higher education, focusing on students in digital creative programs at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. By employing cluster analysis and regression analysis, the research evaluates student satisfaction, technology acceptance, and career impact. Findings indicate that metaverse platforms significantly enhance students’ creativity, practical skills, and job opportunities. Using the K-means clustering algorithm, four distinct student groups are identified based on their acceptance levels. The study provides insights for universities to optimize metaverse platform management, enhance technology adoption, and offer personalized support, ultimately improving learning outcomes and career development.
