“…Data on the sociodemographic characteristics (age, sex, level of education, duration since graduation, years of practice, level of facility, professional cadre, and short course training on SCD) and level of knowledge on SCD (overall, diagnosis and treatment) were obtained using a pre-tested and validated self-administered questionnaire adapted from Brazil (Diniz et al, 2019a) and modified to fit local context.
