Resumo:No ambiente competitivo atual, as empresas são forçadas a elevar constantemente o grau de competitividade de sua produção e, nesse sentido, a filosofia lean é de grande valia. Entretanto, é escasso na literatura o número de referências que possuam como foco a análise do nível de maturidade de células que operam de acordo com a referida filosofia. Devido à importância dessa temática, o presente artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão da literatura procurando evidenciar quais são os parâmetros relevantes para avaliar a maturidade de células de manufatura que operam segundo a filosofia lean. Para isso, foram analisados diversos artigos e uma lista foi estruturada. Tais parâmetros foram divididos em grupos de acordo com suas similaridades. Entre os parâmetros levantados, destacam-se as ergonomias física e cognitiva e a sustentabilidade. Os parâmetros obtidos como resultado desta pesquisa podem ser utilizados como um ponto de partida para a avaliação de células de manufatura lean.Palavras-chave: Produção Enxuta. Abstract:In the current competitive environment, companies are being forced to increase constantly their production competitiveness level and, in this sense, lean philosophy is of great value. However, it is scarce in the literature the number of references which is focused on the analysis of the maturity level of manufacturing cells that operate according to the referred philosophy. Due to the relevance of this theme, the present article aims to review the literature in order to define which parameters must be considered to evaluate the maturity of lean manufacturing cells. To this end, articles were analyzed and a list of important parameters to evaluate lean cells was structured. These parameters were divided in groups according to their similarities. Among these parameters, it highlights the physical and cognitive ergonomics and the environmental sustainability. The obtained parameters as a result in this research can be used as a starting point to an evaluation of lean manufacturing cells. Mediante ao contexto apresentado, evidencia-se que estudos associados ao grau de maturidade de células que atuam segundo a filosofia lean são de grande valia e pouco explorados. Visando contribuir com a temática, este artigo almeja realizar uma revisão da literatura a fim de estruturar uma lista com parâmetros essenciais para avaliar a maturidade das referidas células. However, in past studies, the process of bacterial foraging lacked guidance and the structure of the algorithm was inadequate, which resulted in a low convergence speed and a large number of parameters in the algorithm, thus reducing its search accuracy and speed. Additionally, researchers only improved the algorithm for complex situations, for which a comprehensive evaluation of its robustness could not be made. Here, to resolve these issues, two improved algorithms are proposed and compared comprehensively. Our algorithms are suitable for modeling the foraging process of organisms in nature: a small number of individuals with rich resources can attract other individuals to forage locally. First, we propose a decreasing composite function and gradient migration behavior and introduce the 80/20 rule. A few excellent individuals guide the population to migrate to the optimal solution and increase the convergence speed. Second, we introduce the renewal speed of particles and propose another composite function, and the biological characteristics of Escherichia coli are also introduced to achieve the screening of excellent individuals. Finally, we show the results of numerous experiments and comprehensively evaluate the applicability of the proposed organisms.

Many works published in the area of cellular manufacturing system are based on the assumption that machines are reliable in the whole production horizon without any break down. As such assumptions often are not realistic, to contribute to closing this gap to reality, the model has been modified by additionally including machine reliability, alternative process routings and workforce assignment in a dynamic environment. In this research to integrate this aspects, the modified problem has been defined and formulated and an extended mixed integer multi-period mathematical model has been proposed. In order to evaluate the effectiveness and capability of the extended model, some hypothetical numerical instances are generated and computational experiment are carried out using Gams optimization package. Experimental results demonstrate that the demand value can affect the machine breakdown rate, and a machine with a minimum breakdown rate is implemented more often than others. Moreover, the observed trade-off between the workforce-related costs and the cell-formation costs indicates that workforce-related issues have a significant impact on the total efficiency of the system. The proposed model can be implemented in medium-and large-scale manufacturing companies.
