Development of a Low Cost Poultry Egg Incubation System
Cookey Iyen,
Ephraim Wunuken
Abstract:The egg incubator is a device that allows poultry breeders to generate more chicks without the mother hen. To do this, the system was automated using an Arduino microcontroller. The DHT11 sensor is at the core of the temperature and humidity monitoring system, and the system's status is presented on the LCD at regular intervals. The results reveal that the system was able to automatically maintain the temperature within the prescribed range, allowing the eggs to hatch after 21 days.
