Molinero et al (2010) llevaron a cabo la Adaptación y validación del Cuestionario de Estrategias de Afrontamiento en Competición Deportiva (ISCCS) que aplicó a 306 deportistas de diferentes modalidades deportivas (baloncesto, fútbol, rugby, balonmano, voleibol, fútbol sala, judo, tenis, atletismo, natación y tenis de mesa) de 14 a 28 años, 54.3% mujeres, entre 1 y 16 años de experiencia (media experiencia= 6.34 años).Se analizó la Validez concurrente con la Escala de afrontamiento COPE Inventory (Carver et al, 1989; versión española Perczek, Carver y Price, 2000) y se realizó una comparación con criterios externos:a) Nivel de ansiedad (Cuestionario de Ansiedad-Estado, CSAI-2, Martens, Burton, Vealey, Bum y Smith; versión española de Tabernero y Márquez, 1994); b) Afectos negativos y positivos derivados de la competición, Positive and Negative Schedule (PANAS, Watson, Clark y Tellegen, 1988;versión española de Joiner, Sandin, Chorot, Lostao y Marquina, 1997).La aplicación de Análisis factorial confirmatorio (Amos 7.0) identificó ocho factores agrupados en tres dimensiones de segundo orden: afrontamiento centrado en la tarea (que incluye Análisis-lógico esfuerzo; Búsqueda de apoyo, Relajación; Imaginería mental/ Control de pensamiento), afron-tamiento centrado en las emociones (Resignación, Salida de emociones desagradables) y afrontamiento centrado en la distracción (Distracción mental, Distanciamiento).…”
