Abstract:Norovirus is a highly diverse RNA virus often implicated in food-borne outbreaks, particularly shellfish. Shellfish are filter feeders, and when harvested in bays exposed to wastewater overflow or storm overflows, they can harbour various pathogens, including human pathogenic viruses.
