“…To get the best resolution for the four organotin compounds in a shorter analysis time, various compositions of mobile phase were investigated in this paper. Since DBT and DPhT have similar polarity, it is difficult to separate them in simple mobile phase composition including methanol/ammonium formate/formic acid , methanol/ammonium acetate/acetic acid , etc. The best results were obtained with a gradient elution by a mobile phase consisting of methanol/10% acetic acid (adjusted to pH = 3.0 by triethylamine), using Pursuit 5μ‐C 18 column (250 × 4.6 mm id, Varian Technologies, USA), and the flow rate of mobile phase was 0.50 mL/min.…”

“…To the best of our knowledge, this is the only epidemiological study that addressed the levels of methyltins in human urine. The few remaining studies refer to acute poisoning events (Gui-bin et al 2000a, b;Suzuki et al 2008;Yoo et al 2007). …”

“…In this study, Tetraphenyltin [ were studied as target analytes because of its wide usage in insecticides, fungicides, bactericides, acaricides, preservatives, catalysts, stabilizers for PVC, antifouling paints, water repellents, fire retardants for woolen and cotton fabrics, moth repellants of textiles, disinfectors of hospitals, clothing and UV-oxidation resistance stabilizers, therefore found in numerous compartments such as water, plastic, textile and agriculture products etc. [7][8][9][10][11][12][13]. As a result, there is a variety of pathways for their entry into the environment and have long-term persistence in the environment.…”

“…As a result, there is a variety of pathways for their entry into the environment and have long-term persistence in the environment. Their extreme toxicity and brutal effects on both mammals [14] and marine organism [15] including humans as well as their high bioaccumulation prospect have led to the urgency in controlling the pollution levels of phenyltin species at low concentration levels. In addition, long-term exposure to phenyltin derivatives can lead to anomalies in DNA mutation and human red blood cells [16].…”
