Abstract:The anode subsystem is a major energy consumer of Polymer-Electrolyte-Membrane (PEM) fuel cell systems. A passive hydrogen recirculation system, like an ejector, is an excellent solution to maximize hydrogen utilization while maintaining low parasitic losses.
