Development of anaerobic immobilized-cell processes for biohydrogen production

Abstract

Professor Tay Joo-Hwa and Associate Professor Show Kuan-Yeow, for their patience, guidance, and caring support throughout the course of my Ph.D. study. Their valuable expertise, diverse interests, critical thinking, technical skills and insights have been a constant source of inspiration, and encourage me go far. I am especially grateful for Dr. Show, for his consistent and private support after he left from NTU last December. I also extend my thanks to Dr. Chen Xiaoge, an exsupervisor, for helping me to understand molecular biology and to conduct biological experiments. I would like to extend my appreciation to Professor DJ Lee (National Taiwan University) for his enlightening suggestions and expert insight during this research. From analyzing the data in a new light to designing the experiments, his contribution is significant.
