Development of augmented reality systems displaying three-dimensional dynamic motion in real time

Abstract: We developed a three-dimensional motion tracking system that displays trajectories as augmented reality in real time on a tablet device. The features of this system are as follows: (1) the three-dimensional trajectory can be observed from any direction. (2) Velocity and acceleration can be visualized as augmented reality. The device consists of an Intel D435, a spatial recognition camera, and a Raspberry Pi 4 for data processing and transferring. The data are broadcasted to tablet computers, allowing simultane… Show more

“…Many of which are useful to deliver topical concepts through technology-based interaction with students in both synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning environments. For example, there is no lack in research relating to topical implementation of physics phenomena such as kinematics and dynamics [59]- [61], electricity and magnetism [62], [63], optics [64], and thermal physics [23], [24].…”

“…This area encompasses pedagogical techniques that utilize digital tools such as tablet computers, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, interactive whiteboards, and personal computers. Given the importance of ICT education and its related concepts, numerous research studies have thoroughly addressed it, including its methodologies (e.g., [5,21,27,28,29,30,31,[81][82][83]).…”

“…Augmented Reality (AR) is a digital technology that can display 3D animations of workpieces. Real-world workpieces can be visualized using this digital learning media technology [13]. AR-based digital learning technology benefits can be felt after the availability of resources, lesson planning, and good teacher training [14].…”
