Development of corrosion-resistant material for asphalt concrete cutting part

Abstract

The world pays great attention to the sustainable development of the economy and the stable improvement and growth of road networks, the efficient use of energy sources in the field of technological engineering, the introduction of resource-saving technologies and increasing their efficiency. At the same time, the leading place is occupied by the issues of new design solutions when creating and improving intended for road surfaces, namely milling cutters, currently produced in developed countries of the world. These machines allow the use of resource-saving technologies and materials, and also help to intensify the process of construction and repair of highways. In this regard, special attention is paid to increasing the service life and efficiency of this equipment, including through various technological solutions, including the application of nanostructured coatings using the ionplasma method on the surfaces of the working equipment of road milling machines. The paper examines the issues of destruction of working parts of road construction equipment operating under conditions of abrasive wearout with a fixed abrasive. Analytical studies of the influence of tribomaterial parameters of cutters on the intensity of their wearout have been carried out. Based on solving the equations of the dynamics of the cutter’s motion in a viscoelastic medium, its geometric shape is optimized. Mathematical dependences of the influence of the geometric dimensions of the cutter on the pressure value and the intensity of tool wearout are obtained.
